Volkswagen’s program, VW Certified Pre-Owned, sees 100% of the brand’s 625 dealerships enrolled in the program. VW sold over 72,000 certified pre-owned vehicles in the first three quarters of 2013, which is a 12% increase over the same time period in 2012. IntelliChoice has been analyzing manufacturer certified programs since 1999. The VW program was the best Popular Program from 2005-2010. A total of 24 months/24,000 miles is added to the end of the new car warranty. Roadside assistance is provided for the duration of the certified warranty and is transferrable. Options are available to further extend coverage. Special benefits include a Customer Welcome Kit, three months free SiriusXM radio, a subscription to Driver Magazine, and access to a customer-facing website for loyalty promotions.
