2013 Ram Cargo Van Review

New For 2013
The only major addition for 2013 is rear air-conditioning.
Wait, this isn’t just a Grand Caravan? No, this is Ram’s Ford E-series fighter, aptly named the Cargo Van. Not very inventive, but it says that this van is all business. The two-seater provides an 1800-pound payload and towing capability up to 3600 pounds. It has a 20-gallon fuel tank and gets 25 mpg on the highway. Pair those two, and the Ram Cargo Van also has best-in-class fuel range. It comes with dual sliding rear doors, and its cargo hold can handle four-by-eight-foot sheets of plywood. Those sheets of wood can sit on one of two aluminum floors. The first is a flat, uninterrupted, high-capacity surface. The second, optional floor provides through-the-floor access to three storage bins, which add 11.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity, and load floor tie-downs. Owners who want to accommodate upfits can opt to delete the load floor altogether. Standard features inside the van include air-conditioning with dual-zone temperature control, dual glove boxes, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, and variable intermittent windshield wipers. The Cargo Van has a long list of options, including a media center with a 6.5-inch touch-screen display, an audio jack input for mobile devices, a Garmin navigation system, a backup camera, a full-width cargo divider, and a rear-window wiper and washer.
