2012 Rolls Royce Ghost Sedan

2012 Rolls Royce Ghost Review

(0 Stars)  The "baby" Rolls is still an opulent machine.

Overview
The Ghost is the smallest and most affordable Rolls-Royce, although both of those are somewhat relative terms. It goes without saying that the Ghost is one of the most meticulously beautiful and incredibly detailed cars in the world. The imposing front grille, rectangular headlights, and requisite flying lady hood ornament lead into a bulging sedan shape. The rear suicide doors open up to 89 degrees to facilitate entry into the expansive and sumptuous interior. It's hard to find fault with the real chrome accents, the art-deco-style gauges, and modern gadgets such as a navigation system. Even more impressive, though, is the level of utter bliss in which the Ghost transports its occupants. The car has, in the words of Rolls-Royce, excellent waftability. The Ghost's interior is vaultlike in its insulation from noise and road imperfections, making it feel as though the car were floating above the road. The impressive level of quality is due to the fact that the car is assembled by hand in England: it takes twenty days to build a Ghost. Drive it like a sport sedan, and performance is impeccable. The Ghost can rocket to 60 mph in less than five seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Body roll in corners is almost nonexistent thanks to the computer-controlled air suspension that makes adjustments nearly 400 times per second. New for 2012 is a long-wheelbase model that adds 6.7 inches in length to the regular Ghost. The Rolls-Royce Ghost is one of the most fabulous vehicles on sale today, from behind the wheel and in the chauffeur-driven back seat.
