2011 Hyundai Accent Review

(2 Stars)  Honest, economical, and a little boring

Reviewed by Automobile Magazine on

The Hyundai Accent has been the main focus from this Korean car maker for many years. Hyundai has long been known for their economy cars and the Accent has been one of their most popular models many years running. The Hyundai company has been expanding their line to a much fuller offering, but this vehicle still remains one of their most popular and best selling models.

The Accent is available in coupe and sedan models depending if you prefer the 2 door or 4 door model. This vehicle offers a very competitive mileage rating that reaches 27 mpg in town and an impressive 36 mpg on the highway. The standard engine in the Accent is a 1.6 liter engine that gives 110 horsepower the five speed manual transmission, also standard. There is an automatic option and a larger engine option. The base model Accent offers the most value and is a very economical vehicle on all fronts. There are also many trim levels to spruce up the inside and out with extra features and luxuries that may be a nice addition to the base model.
