2011 Volvo C70

2011 Volvo C70 Review

(4 Stars)  Significant redesign cause to give the C70 a second look

Reviewed by Automobile Magazine on

Overview
In 2006 the C70 was first released from Volvo and the recent big boom in folding hardtops this model has responded to the recent trends to build this convertible model. It is thought to be lacking in some areas but the C70 does offer a brand new look that may be more than enough to make up for any shortcomings it may have. The new front fenders and grill bring a bit of flash to the styling of the C70. This and a totally unique dash design that brings a new and very sleek design to the gauge display make the new C70 seem like a totally new car.

The standard C70 comes with premium leather seats, a 5 speed manual transmission and Sirius satellite radio. The 2011 C70 also comes with the popular T5 engine that offers 227 horsepower and 236 foot pounds of torque. The new C70 starts at $39,950 and this is within the realm of other comparable coupe convertibles. The overall package that the C70 offers is strong, but this convertible could use some more horsepower if it wanted to stand out from the pack.
