2011 Kia Sedona

2011 Kia Sedona Review

(3 Stars)  Vying to be the best in class

Reviewed by Automobile Magazine on

Overview
The Kia Sedona is Kia's entry into the minivan world. It maintains a rather bland balance of style that doesn't grab attention, but simply works. Kia has made one of the safest minivans on the road. With such standard safety features as Disc Brakes, ABS, Traction Control, Stability Control, six airbags and a systems to monitor tire pressure on the go. In fact, the Insurance institute for highway safety has labeled the Sedona as the safest minivan they have ever tested. The NHTSA also awarded it a 5 star crash rating.

In a very competitive field dominated by Honda and Toyota, the Sedona continues to receive high praise. It is often voted a Best Buy when it comes to value for the money.

The Sedona comes in two varieties, or rather two sizes. A long wheel base version, which offers over 5 extra inches of wheelbase and more than 20 cubic feet of cargo space, not to mention that the third row of seating has more room in every direction for a paltry 20 pound weight penalty over the short wheelbase version.
