2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Review

(4 Stars)  Brawny, inside and out

Overview
The all new Ram 1500 is the base class of Dodge pickup truck this year is going under some serious changes. Now that the Dakota is on its way out the Ram 1500 is going to be taking its place as the entry level truck from Dodge. This means all new looks and a heavier payload rating. Even this basic Ram 1500 will now be available with a Hemi V-8 and even before adding this high performance motor, the Ram can tow up to 1,500 pounds and with the larger motor it can handle a 1900 pound payload. There are new coil spring suspension add-ons, among other suspension additions to give the Dodge Ram 1500 a very smooth car like ride even when it is working double time. Without a load, this truck is one of the smoothest riding vehicles in its class.

The full size bed of the Ram is 8 foot, unless you are going to choose one of the extended cab models which will knock it down to roughly 5 to 6 feet depending if you go 3 or 4 door. This year's Ram 1500 brings a lot potential and is offering more options to consumers in the entry level price range than ever before.
